Last month I introduced a great new product called the RackenRest from the makers of the Smart Rest range. As previously mentioned the boys at Eagleye just keep pumping out new ideas and this months no exception with the introduction of the Quad Rest. The Quad Rest is a gun rest designed to mount to the front of your quad bike, ATV or SUV. What’s more it can even be used on the back of a ute while mounted on the roll bar.
In addition to providing a steady rest with fast and smooth elevation adjustment you can virtually shoulder a firearm cradled in the Quad Rest and follow moving game without the shakes. While the frame is made of a lightweight steel, this swivelling rifle support features two gas struts for controlled movement and moveable arms that are telescopically adjustable for height and length of the cradle. Another handy feature with the Quad Rest is the fact that the firearm can be firmly strapped to the rest via its straps and eliminating the need for a scabbard. I’d imagine having the firearm strapped to the rest would also eliminate most of the recoil as well.
