Ridgeline has recently introduced the Pro Hunt fleecy jacket and pants just in time for this coming winter. While the jacket is manufactured from 280gsm Southern Star Fleece which is warm to wear yet very quiet in the bush, the pants are of a similar material referred to as a 280gsm Bonded Fleece, but both a perfect of long cold days in the bush.

While both the pants and jacket incorporate a waterproof membrane making them wind and water resistant, they also feature seam sealed pockets with zip closure. Featuring Ridgeline’s “Wild Trees” camo pattern, the jacket offers a large chest pocket that can accommodate binos and a large rear storage pocket that is accessible from both side seams with a zip closure. Add to this a hood for nasty cold weather and the jackets extended length for sitting and glassing in inclement weather conditions and you have the perfect outfit.

The pants feature button and zip fly closure, two side hand pockets with zip-closure and an extended outer leg opening for breathability.

At the time of writing this gear was soon to be released here in Australia, so I haven’t had the chance to test the new line first hand, but it looks well made, stylish and very durable. Look for the Pro Hunt range by Ridgeline at your local gun shop or Ridgeline stockist. Trade enquiries contact Australian agents Outdoor Sporting Agencies in Victoria.
