Each blade features a black oxide coating and is crafted from Aus-8 steel (sticker knife-440 steel) with the ideal Rockwell hardness rating for each depending on its use, safeguarding durability and consistency in the field. Challenger Mark II knives are also equipped with a textured linen Micarta grip ensuring precision control, topped with an oversized hilt for protection against injury to the user.
