With many small hunting clubs forming across the country, insurance often comes up as a topic of discussion.
The Federation of Hunting Clubs has secured a special offer on Firearms Insurance for its member clubs through Marsh Insurance.
At a cost to the club of $5 per member all financial members can have cover for their firearms and/or associated equipment whilst in transit, stored in a locked vehicle and/or building in accordance with State Law and if damaged or destroyed whilst in use to the value of $12000.
With the option to increase this limit to $25,000 for an additional $10 payable by the individual member. The policy has an excess of $50 each and every claim and protects members anywhere in Australia, 365 days of the year, plus overseas for 21 days in any one year.
That is a total cost of $15 for $25000 cover, and when compared to alternative polices it is a substantial saving considering your members won’t need to join another association just to access it.
