Awesome trophy mount

A couple of fallow deer ruts ago I stalked and got my best fallow buck that appeared in Sporting Shooter as the Awesome Buck.

I was reminded on a few occasions by fellow hunters and good friends that he is such a majestic fallow buck that should be mounted.

At the previous Safari Club International show in Tamworth, Tony introduced me to Michael who at the end of the show took the skull mount with him to be transformed from a skull mount on a shield to a shoulder mount.

Michael has a fantastic display of trophy animals and has been doing mounts for many years and I’ll be adding more trophy mounts to the website soon.

Now when I see that awesome buck on the wall, the memory of that day out is vividly brought back and the majestic buck is there for others to see.
