NEW 33 NOSLER IS MOST POWERFUL CARTRIDGE YET

If you are really into bullets and ballistics, the new 33 Nosler is right up your alley.

The new 33 Nosler is one of the more advanced cartridges to hit the market it quite some time. It has the same case as the rest of the Nosler lineup, the 404 Jeffery, but this new cartridge fires a .338 instead. As most people know, .338 caliber bullets are often a preferred round for big game.

Here’s where the new 33 Nosler gets interesting. It’s capable of firing a 225-grain AccuBond at 3025 feet per second! The new 265 grain AccuBond Long Range round can be fired at 2775 feet per second. As Nosler noted in a fact sheet about this new cartridge, that is 275 feet per second faster and 20% more energy than the 338 Winchester Magnum. On top of that, it’s 25 feet per second faster than the 338 Lapua Magnum at the muzzle while burning 18% less powder.

The 33 Nosler is a Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute standardized cartridge. This means brass and dimensions will be the same industry wide. With expected delivery by the end of the first quarter in 2017, Nosler will be supporting the cartridge with Trophy Grade Ammunition and their full line of M48 rifles.

Specs for that ammunition is as follows:

Nosler Trophy Grade Ammunition – 225gr AccuBond 3025fps and 4589 ft/lbs at the muzzle.
Nosler Trophy Grade LR Ammunition – 265gr AccuBond LR 2775fps & 4545 ft/lbs at the muzzle.
Either way, this is going to be an impressive round.
