The model 1761 is an all-new series of rimfire rifles from Anschutz. Designed and produced in Germany, it represents years of research and development. The Anschutz 1761 is available in two stock designs (thumbhole or classic), two barrel lengths and three popular rimfire calibres, 22LR, 22WMR AND 17HMR.
Offering Lacquered classic walnut stock, elegant look and ageless tradition, the model 1761 offers a well-balanced design for ambidextrous, low vibration shooting. This firearm also offers laser-cut, weather resistant checkering for optimal grip and a shock absorbing, non-slip butt plate. The 1761 includes a single stage trigger set to 2.2 lbs. and fully adjustable from1.8-2.7lbs, with hardened, finely lapped trigger parts, allowing crisp, clean release.
There are also two basic versions to barrel choice. These include and 18 inch with barrel thread or a 20.3 inch without barrel thread. The Anschutz 1761 offers a single stack, 5-shot magazine with stainless steel housing and integrated guide and release lever for optimised magazine handling.
